World Orphans is a non-profit working in 12 countries with the mission of orphan prevention through the empowerment of local leaders. 

I Assisted in maintaining partnerships with local Haitian churches and community leaders to continue working together towards orphan prevention in Haiti. I also used a relational approach to teach art in 14 schools encouraging positive self-esteem and creative thinking skills teaching classes of 25-100 students multiple times per week. I led visiting American teams and partners during their trips to Haiti through administrative work and relationship building specializing in cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Bethany Christian Services is an international non-profit focusing on keeping families together through sponsorship, foster care, family support, and adoption.

I worked directly with local staff in Haiti to find eligible foster parents for children in the foster care system. This included training, education, and facilitating networks to help provide for this extreme need.
